Karen Scullion is criminal defence counsel at Scullion Criminal Defence. She attended law school at the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002.

Karen has worked as both Crown and defence counsel before various courts in Ottawa, L’Orignal, and in Thunder Bay.  She is fully bilingual in French and English.

She has successfully litigated thousands of complex criminal cases, including several jury trials and appeals. Her practice is focussed on complex litigation matters: including murder, aggravated assault, conspiracy, drugs and gangs, wiretaps, search warrants and large scale fraud. 

Karen has recently relocated to Ottawa and looks forward to serving new clients in the region.

Amanda Gallo is an criminal defence counsel at Scullion Criminal Defence. She attended law school at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. Prior to her call, she worked for several criminal boutique firms in Thunder Bay and in Ottawa, as well as her law school's legal clinic. 

Amanda was born, raised, and educated in Thunder Bay. Amanda has coached and judged in several local mooting competitions, including at her alma mater. She had the pleasure of coaching the 2020 Champion Arnup Cup and 2020 Champion Sopinka Cup moot teams, as well as the one of the winning 2023 Law Day moot teams.

Amanda represents accused individuals on all types of criminal and quasi-criminal provincial offences. Her practice ranges from simple matters of mischief under, all the way through to complex fraud and murder investigations in Thunder Bay and across Northwestern Ontario.

Kyle Gledhill is our Law Clerk at Scullion Criminal Defence and the first face you'll see as you enter our office. Kyle joined our office in 2020 and keeps our team running smoothly and efficiently.
